TimeVallée, a Richemont-owned luxury watch and jewellery multibrand concept has swelled its global network of showrooms with openings in Tokyo and Taipei.
TimeVallée is now present in more than 40 locations across China, Korea, the Middle East, India and Europe, and has a stated ambition to keep expanding internationally in the coming years.
It has mainly been seen as a way to strengthen and elevate Richemont’s retail offer in Asian nations, but is also heading West with a presence in Barcelona, Madrid and Lucerne.
The first TimeVallée in the United States will open this year at the American Dream theme park and shopping centre near New York City as a franchise run by New Jersey-based Kodak Group.
TimeVallée aims to become a multibrand retailer for more than just Richemont’s own watchmakers. Across its network it represents A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, Buccellati, Bulgari, Carl. F. Bucherer, Cartier, Chanel, Chaumet, Chopard, Corum, Franck Muller, Girard Perregaux, Glashütte, Gucci, Hermès, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Oris, Panerai, Parmigiani, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, TAG Heuer, Titoni, Vacheron Constantin and Zenith.
While Richemont rivals LVMH, Kering and independently-owned brands have partnered with TimeVallée, eight out of the top ten biggest watch businesses in Switzerland, including Rolex, Omega, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Longines, Richard Mille and Breitling, are yet to join. No Swatch Group brands are represented but Carl F. Bucherer, now owned by Rolex, is present.
A few TimeVallée locations, including Doha, Macau, Abu Dhabi and Lucerne, also offer pre-owned watches from Richemont-owned Watchfinder & Co.
TimeVallée Toyko
TimeVallée new Tokyo outpost is located in Azabudai, a modern urban development in the heart of the city.
The showroom offers Richemont brands Baume & Mercier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Panerai, Piaget and Roger Dubuis, but also independents including Chanel and Chopard.
In addition to watches, the store also offers jewellery from Chopard and Piaget.
TimeVallée Taipei
Taipei’s TimeVallée has opened in New Taipei City’s Mega City Mall, and offers watches and jewellery from Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget and Panerai.
